| About Florence Nightingale
Chapel This converted chapel, dated 1853, has the name of Florence Nightingale on the original deeds and her family home was in Holloway. Sympathetic conversion has turned the chapel into a unique self-catering holiday cottage ideally located for walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, visiting stately homes and theme parks. It is situated in a peaceful location but close to the centre of the popular conservation village of Holloway, with beautiful views across the valley, and close to Matlock and all major attractions in the Peak District. Bed linen, towels, and tea towels are provided. The chapel has digital colour television, video, multi-fuel and log burning stove, plus full central heating. There is off street parking for three cars and a small private patio and secure garden area with furniture and a barbecue for the exclusive use of guests.
The chapel has a no smoking and no pets policy. Children over the age of two are very welcome. A warm welcome from the owners, Sue and Paul, who live nearby, awaits you, together with a courtesy pack of fresh home baked bread, local bacon, fresh farm eggs, and milk.
